That’s why we’ve built a returns and exchanges process that’s as straightforward and secure as our checkout.

Just like our Privacy Policy guards your data, this policy protects your peace of mind. It’s built on transparency, respect, and a no-compromise attitude toward making things right for our fans.

THE RUNDOWN: WHAT CAN & CAN’T BE RETURNED

✅ Eligible for Return/Exchange:

  • Shirts, Outerwear, Women’s apparel: Unworn, unwashed, with original tags attached, in original packaging.
  • Headwear (Hats, Beanies): Unworn, with all original tags and packaging.
  • Items must be returned within 15 days of you receiving the delivery.

❌ Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items:

  • CDs & Music Media: Due to copyright and the potential for duplication, all CDs and physical music items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective upon arrival.
  • Custom or Personalized Items: Clearly marked as “final sale” at purchase.
  • Items without original tags, that have been worn, washed, or altered.
  • Items damaged due to misuse or wear after delivery.

YOUR STEP-BY-STEP BACKSTAGE PASS (The Return/Exchange Process)

Step 1: Initiate Your Request (Within 15 Days)

Don’t just send gear back. Email our crew at [email protected] with the subject line “Return/Exchange Request” and the following info. Use the template below to make it super quick.

Subject: Return/Exchange Request – Order #[Your Order Number] Hey Bandtees Crew, I’d like to request a return/exchange for my order. – Order Number: [Please provide] – Name: [Your Full Name] – Item(s) for return/exchange: [Item Name, Size, Color] – Reason: [e.g., Size too large, changed mind, defective item] – Requested Action: [Refund / Exchange for (specific item & size)] I confirm the item is unworn, unwashed, and has all original tags attached. Thanks, [Your Name]

Step 2: Get Your RMA & Shipping Instructions

Our crew will respond “faster than a quick-draw PayPal checkout” (usually within 24 hours) with:
– A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
– Instructions on where to send the item.
– A return shipping label if the return is due to our error (defective/wrong item).

For standard “changed mind” returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable service (like DHL, FedEx, or EMS) and keeping the receipt.

Step 3: Pack & Ship

Securely pack the item in its original packaging, include all tags. Place the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package. Ship it to the address provided by our crew.

Step 4: The Encore (Your Refund or Exchange)

Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 5-7 business days of arrival):

  • For Refunds: We will initiate the refund to your original payment method (VISA, Mastercard, JCB, PayPal).
  • For Exchanges: We will process the shipment of your new item immediately, subject to stock availability. If your chosen exchange is out of stock, we’ll contact you to arrange an alternative or a refund.

REFUND TIMING: WHEN THE FUNDS HIT YOUR ACCOUNT

We process the refund as soon as we approve the return. However, the time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends on your payment provider:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (VISA, Mastercard, JCB): 5-10 business days after we process it.
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days after we process it.

You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued by us.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS (For Our Global Tribe)

We ship worldwide (excluding some Asian and remote regions), and you can return items from most countries. Please note:

  • You are responsible for any international return shipping costs and customs duties.
  • Mark the package as “RETURNED GOODS” to avoid import taxes on your end.
